Job Description

This is an expression of interest. Chiyoda is keen to speak with experienced Lead Schedule Planner, in view of a potential employment at our Project Sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and monitor a planning, schedule, and progress control system to complete the project on time and within budget.
  • Ensure any deviation from plan shall be promptly identified and analyzed, and impact shall be evaluated, and corrective actions shall be monitored.
  • Satisfy Client and Contractor’s requirements for the reporting on schedules, progress, and planning.
  • Create a schedule awareness atmosphere among all project participants.
  • Ensure, during the initial phase of the Project, the implementation of the Planning and Progress Control System.
  • Ensure, during the execution phase, the Planning and Progress Control System works effectively and progress status and completion forecast are soundly assessed and reported.
  • Deputize as Control Manager, in all issues relating to schedule and progress when Control Manager appoints the specific tasks.
  • Coordinate with inter-discipline, subcontractor and client as required.

 Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience in construction management in the organization of main contractor.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in schedule planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or other related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of EPC Projects
  • Thorough understanding on establishing standard schedule report policies, preparing master schedules of oil and gas on-shore process plants, and analyzing delays and schedule implications.
  • Having knowledge and experiences in schedule planning and controlling for Module Construction Project for Plant would be of advantage.
  • Proficient in computer software such as MS Office and Primavera Project Planner (P6) and other specific project management system adopted for Project.
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • High degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and Client personnel.
  • Skills for decision-making, managing subordinates, and time management to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Team player with good writing and communication skill.
  • Adept multi-tasker with a flexible “can do” work attitude.
