Job Description

Chiyoda is now hiring a Sales Manager to work at the Chiyoda Global Headquarters (CGH) office in Yokohama, Japan.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists business development management with day-to-day operations within the department
  • Attend client meetings, partner meetings and other vendor/contract meetings as per superintendent’s instruction
  • Actively participates in note and minutes documentation
  • Proposal and bid preparation and development
  • Contract and agreement development (external and internal)
  • Presentation material preparation and development
  • Provides assistance with future project research and market research
  • Business coordination with Chiyoda group offices
  • All other duties and/or support as assigned

Requirements:

  • Mandatory:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
    • More than 1 year overseas study experience in 4 year university or post graduate school
    • Good written and verbal communication in English (TOEIC >=800)
  • Preferred:
    • Proposal / technical writing ability
    • Energy business background
    • To be interested in Japan and Japanese culture
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience
  • Exposure to business development
  • Exposure to proposal preparation and development
  • Project or technical background (preferred)
  • Future market trends experience
  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Demonstrable experience with proposal development (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Manage priorities and multi-task effectively
  • Understanding of multi-cultural differences
  • Possess an attitude of continuous improvement
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines
